then illness
and imbalance
begins to occur.
What you have forgotten

Dorothy,
Your responses are always so full of love. Be they short or long, every word says, I love the wonderful, who, you are. I feel Carol is a bit like the pied piper of the heartlands. Instead of drawing us into some kind of enchanted slavery, we listen to her magical musings and become children again, who just have to sing out and live what is in our hearts. What a great place to play and be refreshed, the garden of whispers is.
Just as an idea to entertain, that punkiness and soaring seem to be two faces of one whole. And both have their purpose. I know when I am feeling punky, I take it slower and I learn to give my body more loving attention.
I see you eternally soaring, Dorothy, and we are flying with you. And when you're feeling punky, you might be just getting a restful tune-up at the body shop.

If an enchantress I am, it is only for bringing the magic and beauty of love to lighten our beings thru the playfulness of music. I so love the idea of being a pied piper of love...think of how we could get the whole world to " tag " along with us and play...
Punkiness seems to tuck me into a warm comfy bed too...hmmm Perhaps there is a balance point that we can feel into....or maybe we just love some bed time ! lol

Oh, I love that, Lyndy--The Garden Of Whispers. It sounds absolutely enchanting. When Carol whispers her magical musings to us, we respond in kind, and, as you say, become children again, allowing ourselves to sing and dance and shout with Joy. And of course, that's where our creativy begins--when we can finally let go and soar into the sky...high in the sky, like birds on the wing, soaring, sailing, finally setting ourselves free--free to be who we are supposed to be. Did you like alphabet soup when Cambell's used to make it? I know I did. I would have words strung around the rim of my bowl, while eating lunch ! So happy... bubbly... word away !

Ah, I've found the alphabet soup (I mean the reply where I was certain you mentioned it) I do remember the precious alphabet soup--in fact, I think Campbell's still makes it. I still love their soups. Actually, I'm eating some of their tomato soup as we speak. It kinda soothes the tummy, and makes me feel special. I had a great day (Sun) visiting my eldest daughter and some other family members--had great food and a lot of fun chatting with everyone. Thankfully my tummy held up very well--I think the worst is over. Now I can simply chill out and relax with my soup and crackers, and shortly, my cheese toast and wine. Life is great--I'm very fortunate--and very grateful. Love and Light, always, Dot

Ohhhh--such beautiful balloons. There was a landing field for them, not far from where we used to live. In fact, every now and then, we'd hear this strange noise, look out, and realize that one was going over our house. What we were hearing was the whishing of the fire jets that kept the balloon afloat, and they were loud. If memory serves, it seems like one actually landed almost in our yard. The reason my memory is a little foggy on the events, is (I imagine) because when we first came to West Chester, PA, there was lots of farmland--our house was built on original farmland--then, as years went by, more and more houses were built in that area--we couldn't look way off into the distance from where we lived anymore and see the balloons landing. In fact, there was no place close by for them to land. They sure were exciting to watch, though. Thanks for the memories, Carol--I'd almost forgotten about the balloons. Love and Light, always, Dot

When we lived in London, we had a balloon fest weekend every summer...and we would love to go watch the balloons lift high into the air and sail so freely over the city. I know the sound you are referring to as the gas was freed to lift the balloon the whoosh sound it would make. I would hear that as the balloons sailed above our home.
I have always wanted to take a ride in a balloon. The thought of it is so romantic to me...the leisureliness of its' movement...like the timelessness of an afternoon picnic and lying in the grass afterward and focusing on clouds and designing shapes.

Yes, Carol, balloons are awesome--I love watching them. I have a problem with heights, but even so, somehow got up the courage to get into a tethered balloon at a huge work related picnic gala put on my my husband's nephew in Albany NY years ago (My husband was from Albany) I don't think I could have done it if the balloon hadn't been tethered, but it was quite an experience, and I felt like I'd conquered just a little of my fear of heights. One again, thanks for the memory--it was a very happy one--Love and Light, always, Dot

I want to thank all of you so very much for all of your words of comfort and understanding that you have shared with me. It has been very comforting and so appreciated.
I too was struck by yesterday's "whisper" also Dorothy. Dorothy you must forgive me for forgetting at times your ongoing battle with cancer, you come across so lively and vibrant through these "whispers" to make me think you are an energetic teen ager, :) !!
My son mentioned to me his concern for not crying over TJ. ( I had cried a number of times) I told him not to worry about it or feel guilty. You are in the state you're in at the moment, a state of heart that can and will change as you continue to seek within. I remember years going by without shedding a tear. I began to think there must be something wrong with me. However I was very much in the world during that time living for the party.
The inquiry to that which is within triggers a response, deep calling unto deep, the heart will be made pliable. Entrance to the expansive beingness is through the heart and so is it's expression. Sometimes we do not know what we are asking or seeking, be prepared, :)
