'Love Lights Up The Chosen Road'
Nothing's found if no one's looking
growth's not seen without a seed,
what's the pen without the paper
... where's success in hate and greed?
Not all aircraft have an engine
gliders float on silent skies,
don't take all you hear as gospel
think things through and use your eyes.
all your actions paint a picture
that's the portrait of your soul,
what you give out you'll get back
so widely use the colour gold.
The one who often shouts the loudest
is not the one who's always heard,
the ear's designed to pay attention
so listen well to the wise old birds.
Fearless hearts, they conquer mountains
mud runs through the frightened vein,
mercy loves an honest river
one that flows past guilt and shame.
Guns and money, they're the killers
both designed by human hand,
sold off souls won't ever prosper
they'll say goodbye to the promised land.
You create the wealth inside you
morals form the unseen code,
there's always grace for a fallen angel
love lights up the chosen road.

Comment by Rev. Kisharblaze on February 17, 2012 at 5:27pm It is one of two gifts I will gladly claim. I can write and I can sing. When I was in 11th grade we had a test and one of the questions on it was "name a modern day Henry David Thoreau and explain why you picked them". I got called to stay after class the day before the tests were to be given. I thought, "Whoa, I must have really bombed that test." After the class was gone, she said, "I just wanted you to know that over half the class picked you as their modern day Thoreau. I can't show you their papers, but I wanted you to know." I was floorboarded to say the least. I did not understand why since these were the same people who acted like they hated me.
Years later, I finally read "Civil Disobedience" and realized why.
I also had a record contract at 14, but because of my dad's job, I wasn't allowed to travel. (none of were, kidnap risks, National Security, that type thing) So my parents could not sign off on the contract. A few years later, the band that owned the record label had some kind of contest for the open contract and Metallica won it. No worries, it was not the reason for my ability to sing. I understand that now.
Rev, I am going to put you up there with some of my favorite Poets of the Middle East, Rumi and Hafiz. A wonderful insight you have.
Comment by Rev. Kisharblaze on February 17, 2012 at 5:11pm I wrote this in May of 2010. It is called Dew Drop.
Hanging precariously off of the tip of a single green leaf, suspended
for just a moment in time, slid a single drop of dew. In the reflection
of this single drop of water shone the sun. In the light of the
morning was brought forth the colorful splendor found in the prism of
colors hued in the petals of flora around the dewdrop. The notes
streaming from the songbirds nearby held resonate in the air love and
grace which floated on the air waves and gently brushed the bottom of
the solitary drop. As I stared deeper into this tiny dew drop world, I
saw yet one more image. It held a beauty I had missed before. Such
depth of color, such unique splendor and grace. What reflection filled
my eyes was the reflection of myself.
The drop then slid off the leaf and with a tiny splash onto the ground below it became one with
Mother Earth, and my memory sparked a sweet sound of thought. We are
all one, the whole world in a single drop of dew.
God is a viable reality concept through which we all need to maintain our faith of being real and having an eternal consciousness which never shall die, only we seem to change as the situations of life require us to continue to have experiences of being (That I Am) so God has another view of how we relate to the whole of creation. My own conceptual realization of God is more expansive today because of my involvement in the inward searches to find Self of God's Creation and not my co-creation of Egocentric Self. I do like the ability of
Gregg Braden to explain a more technical description of the functions of the God-Head, as he considers one part of the nature as viable and with great compassion, the other part as pure energy and then the intellect in planting the design of the soul as an holographic living entity within each living being within His creations. So, I guess Gregg's scientific approach satisfied my intuitive knowing that within each human is the Christ Potential of the Only Begotten Son; though I too brought up as the Christian tradition was passed through the family, have always held the upmost respect and reverence for Jesus, the Christ of our times; but as stated by the Living Consciousness of Jesus, he is only in a more direct alignment with the Father/God/Creator and so to go to the Father through him is often more efficient than going alone. Yet, Jesus was here to teach us to go alone, though that is how it seems, but it is never that way, we are never alone, nor have ever been abandoned nor isolated; as all of heaven is only a breath away, a thought away and a deep seated feeling within the heart away.
Sorry Colleen, that was in the fall of 1979. I was just getting into this ESP stuff and had finished my studies in hypnosis that spring, so I was open enough to allow my consciousness to receive a little bit. No, there is nobody doing cloak and dagger works here.
Comment by Michael ~OV Tech~ on February 17, 2012 at 4:24pm Hello David. I am well, just been busy looking within for a while now... for a long time, I have been aware of the fact that this world I perceive is of my own making (ie the lie is to say "I am not responsible") and efforts to sort it all out externally have proven futile. I have therefore been searching for what it is in ME that is causing the chaos in the world I am witnessing. And I know the answer, I am just experiencing difficulties implementing it. But I have the greatest ally and friend one could ever have - and that is God and even if the whole world shuns us, I know in my heart He (Love) will ultimately prevail. So I just continue to make a place for Him in my own heart and consign myself as his instrument of His Will.
"The simple things are the last refuge of the complex" - Oscar Wilde
I hope all is well for you.
I pray that each soul gets the opportunity to hear the Voice within through the dynamics of the Field Energy giving to them a sense of calm, serene peace and understanding; as for me it was intelligent and I understood it, when it told me one night when I was concealed from a search party, "If you open your eyes, (as my ears heard the activity of the group) then as you are able to see them, they will surely be able to see you." It was later, about 15 hours later that it was confirmed to me that people were looking for me. To my incomplete knowledge I thought that I was in the open and not masked or concealed from view? Life is full of mysteries, many of them are good.
Comment by Rev. Kisharblaze on February 17, 2012 at 3:58pm Yes that is precisely what it is, David.
