Comment by Harry Beam on October 30, 2011 at 10:23am Luna: may I ask where you are from?
Are you talking about Maharashi school in Fairfield, IA? That is just an hour away from where I live. Maybe we should get together sometime ;-)
Comment by Luna on October 30, 2011 at 9:42am All this talk about education - many reasons why I have decided to homeschool my child. So that I can include essential spiritual lessons along with things that will do my child well in the real world (instead of learning a bunch of crap that he most likely won't use).
I really wish there were physical schools all over that taught spiritual lessons. There is a maharishi school near here that teaches the transcendental meditation technique, but that is about it and it's Very expensive to attend. If I had more knowledge I would totally start some classes in this area, but I fear it wouldn't go so well now.
I'll just keep looking for others in the area to be able to meet up with on occasion. It's nice to atleast have that.
Comment by Dave Kessler on October 30, 2011 at 9:09am Chewbit,
I've been a student as well as a "teacher" for the past 10 years or so, particularly after awakening after 9/11. You did send me some remarkable stuff a while back but since I study (and consider) all possibilities, I don't remember exactly what you sent then but do remember that it was most amazing, and likely truth. I'm sure I added it to my very extensive library of printed material.
At this point, I can't think of anything specific but would love to receive new material from you. Sorry to be so vague.
Harry, I'll check out the Wegner material although it was rather negatively portrayed on this group site.

Comment by Dave Kessler on October 29, 2011 at 6:36pm Okay Chewbit, I'm asking. You've sent me some incredible links in the past and I want more.
No offense Harry but I do concur with Axel. Even in fifth density we will all still be students and teachers -- especially in the beginning.
Comment by Harry Beam on October 29, 2011 at 10:14am Yes Harry, the answers are all around us.
I did not know Win Wenger (http://www.winwenger.com) and took a brief look at his website. I am certainly not able to give an account of his accomplishments. But my first (and certainly quite uneducated) impression is that he, like so many others, elaborates more on the tools for teaching rather than discussing what is being taught. Although both, the tools and the content, define the mix, the tools can only help so far. Without opening up to ALL knowledge that is available to us at this time, attempts like those of Win Wenger must remain unsatisfactory. At least this is what I believe. We have many educators in our University who address the issue of how teaching and learning outcomes could be improved by discussing tools for teaching. But this only one of the problems (and not even the most important one). Sir Ken Robinson and Charles Savage talk about both, the tools and the content, when they discuss educational reform.
And even though I don't know what "this place is supposed to be" (perhaps you can tell me), as far as ascension is concerned I think it is valuable to bring up the issue of education for discussion (perhaps not under this thread though). We are entering a new age and perhaps a new dimension or reality. And I believe this new reality will reflect our values and beliefs, just as the old one does. We will need some form of education for our young wherever we go. And I see many of us considering a much wider approach than what Win Wengers seems to discuss (please correct me if I am wrong). In my humble opinion, the system needs a complete overhaul, not just some pothole repair.
So again, Harry, thanks for bringing up your point of view here too. It is always interesting to discuss various opinions on a subject.
