  I am sorry to miss out but happy birthday Lola. Been busy with our local council.I am to speak at the all faiths assembly on the first about Cherokee beliefs here at ISU. Also I am now engaged .....yes same woman. I start a new job this week sometime and looking for a new house to move into and get settled prior to our wedding this fall. YES I have been VERY busy! The father has smiled on me and I feel quite blessed. The wedding ceremony will be a traditional Cherokee one. Our council leader is going to marry us and I think the council is going to help with the wedding activities as well. When we get closer, I will post all of the info on here so that if you would like to come and can,,, you will all be welcome.

   It took a long time for me to accept me as myself. I could not be sure if what I was was good enough.... But as with all of nature, if you do not accept it, it will turn against you. You have to believe you were made to be as you are. That is the key point. You cannot change who you are or what nature is. Because we are all a part of it. Learn to be happy with yourself and you will find much peace in this world. We are not perfect... we were NOT meant to be....in the Spirit of Crazy Horse... peace to you
