I'm glad the water left, Lola. I'm in awe of anyone who cans--it just sounds like so much work, but of course, it's so wonderful to have delicious fruits and veggies all year round. And it certainly must give you a sense of pride when you eat them, knowing that that you put them up yourself. L&L, D

Thank You Dorothy!  The water all left so far.  I want to get some canning done this year!  I too, didn't know about the the buffalo eating healing plants.  The meat is leaner and better for you too.  They destroy everything thats any good for us.  Praying we get back to nature.  Stay Cool!  Rainbows of Love and Blessings

I should have said, the Oglala women speaking about the buffalo, dear LCf. I found it especially interesting how one woman explained that buffalo meat was medicine, because they eat the medicine (meaning the plants) and how cows pull up the plants by the roots, but buffalo only eat the tops--so the plants continue gowing. Yes, very interesting--L&L. D
