  I am the head of a new All Nations Indian Council here in Terre Haute, In. We're on Facebook as North Terre Haute All Nations Indian Council.....Haven't been going a week yet.   Here is something worth being said RIGHT...."To live is to breathe. and to breathe is to pray. to pray is to dance. And then, to dance is to live. "

  I've heard and seen this so many times...and usually so misquoted.

  To the Indian. everything in life is prayer. And as long as you breathe or dance you are doing just that, praying. It is a life long thing to be close to the Creator. If we remember that then we are better able to keep ourselves "clean" of bad medicine.

   Next time you have a bad day, find a quiet spot and take your shoes off. When you touch the mother with your bare feet, you also touch something of Him. You are energized... sit in that field and breathe the clean air close to the ground. Live life as you were intended . Keep simple things like this in mind to uncomplicate your life. Lately ,I have had to do this on a daily basis. So many problems...but they all seem to disappear with the touch of the sun on my face and the joining of my feet on the ground....as we were intended....Peace to you my friends
