Yes, Carol--Happy Canada day to all our Canadian Members.
I find it fascinating (and comforting) that today's Whispers talks about us allowing the ego self to take its rightful place--not ignoring it, or trying to get rid of it, just acknowledging it as having a rightful place of co-operating with consciousness in our system. And when it's in its rightful place it won't get the better of us. We will be in complete balance--a perfect harmony to strive for and once found, to enjoy to the fullest.
Relating to the March Whispers--I so agree. We certainly have to be as conscious of our thoughts as possible, but we do have to keep our sense of humor. If we ask for a horse and a donkey shows up, well, that's okay, I love donkeys--they're cute. If we ask for a prince and a frog show up, that's okay, too, frogs are adorable, and who knows, maybe it belongs to the prince, maybe he's looking for his frog and finds the princess gently holding it, and realizes what a loving heart she has. Oh, there I go---can't help myself--I just love stories about a hero (or heroine) instantly falling in love because they've discovered someone who is kind and caring. Seriously--we do have to keep our sense of humor. If something funny happens, have a good laugh about it, then share it with friends. Laughter is the best medicine, and a laugh can make someone's day, Love and Light, always, Dot

Thank you for your sweet words of appreciation.
Our ego self "strives" and while seeing thru egos' eyes every thing pretty much is experienced as hard work...where, when we are living in our Heart Space and viewing life thru heart's eyes we have already entered the flow. Harmony and balance are the expression of Heart Space living.
You have discovered the state of grace that allowing is when you can accept a donkey instead of a horse.
I see your romantic nature is showing itself again...I love it ! You hold such riches in the way you view possibilities. It is when we run up against road blocks and can see nothing left as an option or possibility that we run into great difficulties, and consider life a dead end. It is only a dead end to those who have not allowed for change.
Humor is an interesting gift. When people take themselves too seriously they are not likely to use the gift of humor to help shift their emotions. and their self perception. I love that you take your humor seriously ! That is the very best place for seriousness.

yes, Carol, so much (I've come to learn) is all about ego. It's really fascinating to actually monitor what I'm doing or saying (when I'm with people) and to realize that a lot of what I'm doing or saying is about ego. It has made me aware of how little (in many cases) one actually needs to say. I don't mean I shouldn't contribute anything to the conversation, but to just be aware of what I'm saying and why I'm saying it, rather than listening to what someone else is saying, or simply choosing not to say anything, and enjoying the quiet. Also, I'm finding the joy in truly concentrating on other people--seeing how I can make them smile, or even laugh, with a fun joke, or relating a funny experience. Sometimes a compliment (always sincere) about their appearance--hair, outfit, etc, or whatever, just seems to make their day. Also there are times when a person just needs an ear to listen and a shoulder to lean on--that's when, I find that my attention must be focused on the other person, and how I can help them in he best and gentlest way possible.
Yes, Humor (I believe) is so very important. I always welcome the humor fairy--she's so mischievious and full of fun--she shows up in the most unexpected places, and she always knows when I need a good laugh--and, bless her heart, she makes sure I get my humor fix. She provides the CHANGE I need to smile or laugh, and if I falter, she helps get me back in THE FLOW--and into the STATE OF BECOMING. Blessed be, dear heart, Love and Light, always, Dot

Hi Dorothy...and all Whisperers...
It is a journey we are on ...learning to listen to our Heart's call...listening compassionately to others who are asking for acknowledgment so that they can move thru stuff. It is such a gift to be able to witness without carrying the load of stuff too. So often when people talk about their problems, they will continue to repeat it to who ever thy can attract to listen to them yet again. This kind of hearing is not listening but being dumped on so that they feel better and don't have to do anything about the situation they find them selves in. Have you ever seen the dumping being shifted from person to person... When I finally got that that was only relieving them in that moment and not resolving anything, I made the decision to no longer be a dumping station.
I had just such an event happen last eve. I saw how often this person would come to me and dump... I thought about how many ways I had handled the situation in the past. This time I decided to do what felt good to me. I decided just to pour lots of love into the situation....then carry on. This morning I had a phone call from the person who had resolved the situation for them self.Love is a conscious energy ! When we open to it and allow it to flow us into new spaces and places, we have the Divine ride of our lives!

So true, Carol--I've found that some people are simply in the "zone" Kind of like they're wrapped up in RESISTING ENERGIES--unable (or unwilling) to go with the FLOW. They're like a tape that's stuck on the "I have this problem" message, and they're really not (in most cases) looking for answers, they just want to dump. They can't get beyond the recording that's playing in their head and they have to "share" it with whoever's willing to listen. I think as we grow spiritually, it becomes apparent who truly needs an ear to listen and a shoulder to lean on, as opposed to those who aren't interested in answers and solutions, they just want to air their problem (or problems) to whoever will listen, over and over and over until the person getting dumped on has to get away from them to protect their sanity.
