Dot,
One day while I was walking in the woods, I kept having this inner vision that I was being trailed by a small parade of tiny folks. I just found that idea so delightful, I let it be and started sensing more deeply about our elemental companions, letting imagination open and listening to its voices. Mossy places just spoke to me as if they were fey gathering places. I began having fairy wonderings, and just seemed to know things. Wondering about fairy homes, I sensed that they slept wherever they became tired, nature became their home, answering their needs, and what they called into use, went back into nature when they were done. I also sensed they hide in plain sight and show themselves when, with love and respect for ourselves and interest in them, they hear our thoughts and connect. There are so many stories I seem to live in my happy heartmind, and I am certain one day, we will meet at a fairy celebration. I will look across the speckled toadstool table and say, "Dorothy, that's you!" And you will smile and ask if i'd like a little more magic tea.

Lyndy... Dorothy ...and all...
I love your inner flight into your dimension of imagination....and fey land ! I know that feeling of looking at places and spaces...and just know that these are home dwellings or places that have provided for the wee folk from nature's abundance. While I was in MT Shasta for a summer camp for adults, we went up the MT. and took a trail around to the back side. The trail took us thru fairy rings...and tree circles...such a magical journey. The sacred was just everywhere to be seen....and experienced. While climbing Castle Craig, a companion Mt., there was a spot beside the trail that had fungus growing out the side of the tree like little roofs. At the base of the tree, there was one piece of fungus growing over an opening leading under the roots. I could sense presence there. I so agree that they allow themselves to be seen when it suits them and for their own reasons when it feels safe to them.
I often feel fairies present when I am at my computer key board which seems a curious place to encounter them. Exrtra e's show up in the words as I am typing, which always make me laugh..as I know they are playing with me. I experience their energy as playfulness and joy. I am sure they would love to show up in our Whisper Garden and sip some elderberry tea or nibble at wild raspberry preserves. They love sweets !
Imagine how versatile you can eat mushrooms or use them as furnishings! They (our wee folk) are the ultimate idea in living green !

Oh, what precious pictures, Carol--just adorable. Yes, I, too, seem to sense the fairies at times, and with them, that joyfulness that you mention. But it's not just joy, it's actually...well, as you say, playfulness. Like they're having fun--they're happy little creatures, and I believe that once we let them into our consciousness--let them know that we believe in them--they will let us know that they are real. Glad you enjoyed those pictures. What Lyndy wrote, inspired me to share these pictures too as they seemed perfect for our conversations of fairies and nature. They are another of the aspects of the Divine that lift us up ...light like bubbles... playful and bright.
I remember a book that a family friend brought back from her trip to the British Isles. It was a huge book..with each page the size of a painting ( 12x16 ) The paintings were all of the wee folk...fairies and elves...the paintings must have been done in water colors as originals. I just adored and treasured that book. There was very little writing in it..more just captions at the bottom of each page....but to me, they were very real...and have been ever since.
Childhoods' playmates.

This is such an adorable picture, Carol. The little girl reminds me of myself at her age, as I had bangs, then--and oh, how I would have been delighted at seeing fairies in a doll house--or anywhere, for that matter. Yes, that's the word that comes to mind when I think of the fairy folk--delightful. They are such happy, joyful, little beings. I must confess, a thought occured to me yesterday (after reading all our discussions about the fairy folk) I wonder if it is possible that those of us who are so open to faires, nature spirits, elementals--all the wee folk in general--could possibly be a larger, more visible version of their species. I'm not talking about our physical appearance, as we all arrived here through being born to a mother--I'm talking about our "internal person" I know I've always been "different" from as far back as I can remember--never fit in to the "normal" slots that other people seemed to fit in to. I dunno--just thinking out loud. I'm gonna go back now, and enjoy those pecious pictures again, Blessed be, dear heart, Love and Light, always, Dot

I would love to have a doll house where fairies reside...as a child and now ! :)
You have shared an interesting musing... I think some of us may have been in that kingdom and have joined the human one to bring awareness to higher realms of energy...and living with great respect for all life. Have you ever noticed that there are some people whose physical features remind you of a larger version of a fairy or elf? It feels to me like they are bringing soul level memories in to help shape their bodies this time. I had a meditation a long time ago where I was shown what happens at conception...not only does the egg and sperm join...and the other sperm present begin to turn the egg into motion like it is joining a dance of life...there was also a blue ray that entered the egg...and I was shown that the blue ray was adding soul memories that also helped to shape the body. I know that may sound odd, but it had e realizing that we are more than just the egg and sperm's content for genetic (programmed) features...that there was a Soul library that was in the mix as well.
I know what you mean by feeling and being different...me too! What a lovely thought that we might have connection with the elemental family. Some of the elementals are larger. I saw a water spirit at a waterfall that was exquisite..a silvery blue color. It was the more the size of a human.

Reply thingys have gone bye-bye again, Carol. Oh, yes, wouldn't it be wonderful to have a doll house where fairies reside? What a lovely thought. Yes, I have always been different, but I didn't understand why for years. I just thought I didn't catch on to things like other people did--I didn't understand how to do simple things--couldn't seem to figure it out (that still holds true with some things, now) Instructions for how to use things usually drive me crazy. I needed someone to explain them to me--and still do, in many cases.
I do think everyone has a basic form that is the basis from which they can draw on for their appearance in any given life--they probably won't look exactly as they did in a previous life, but there will be similarities. How fascinating that you were shown what happens at conception--very interesting. Yes, there certainly are people who look very much like larger versons of the wee folk--so one certainly has to wonder if maybe they are. Although I don't think I resemble the fairies in actual appearance, it's really nice that to think that I might be connected to them mentally. I love anything having to do with the fairy folk, I think probably because they are so loving, kind, gentle, and accepting. They are complete love. Blessed be, dear heart, Love and Light, always, Dot

What an awesome picture, Lyndy--so beautiful. Yes, I believe you are so right about the wee fairy folk. How exciting to be trailed by a parade of tiny folks. They are all around us--all we have to do is to believe in them. They sense our acceptance and gratitude and are willing to help us in any way they can. I believe that the nature spirits and ellementals are able to heal us through the Divine--I believe they did it for me. I don't profess to know how it happens, but I give thanks to them, and want them to know how much I appreciate them, and all their help. Wouldn't it be wonderful to go to a fairy celebration? Yes, Lyndy--one day we will meet with Carol, and Bruce, and all the Whisper's family at a fairy celebration. There will be much laughing and hugging, and we will enjoy culinary delights made with gifts from the forest, and prepared with love--and we will drink magic tea until the wee hours of the morning. No reply thingys again Carol. As to the info on publishing--not to worry, it didn't take long to put down my thoughts at all, and was so very happy to do is. It's just that I kinda know (or knew--as I haven't submitted anything for publication for some time) how these things work. I'm so glad to help anyne in any way I can to (hopefully) avoid time consuming mishaps, and get their work to an agent or publisher, and (hopefully) have it considered and (even more hopefully) accepted. Oh, gosh--just got a call from daughter Di-daughter Paula is picking me up in short order so we can spend some time at her house with a couple grandaughters--gotta run--I'll get back later on this--L&L, D
