It's a relief to know I'm not alone in the moving situation, Carol, I look around and think--am I ever going to get all this straightened out? I am going to write down my intentions to get organized with my clutter, and to get really serious with my writing--to set some goals for whatever I can work out that doesn't make me feel stressed out. I believe--like a title--if we set goals, write them down, and look at them each day with positive intent, they will gather energy around them, and somehow we will find ourselves actually doing whatever it was that we were determined to do. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Gotta believe it's all gonna work out. Blessed be, dear heart, Love and Light, always, Dot

Great Idea ! I usually take my list one step further..I look at the list and take an item off the list for the day, that won't over tax time and energy resources. Every time something is finished I get to strike it off the list. Also when I picture how it will feel when that is done gives me motivation.
When you are that clear on holding intention, you list will dwindle.
Love blessings on list creating and having fun doing the list.

Oh, gosh--you're WAY ahead of me, Carol--I was just thinking about goals like, getting the living room straightened out, getting my office straightened out, etc. I know, the best way to approach these large tasks is to break them down into smaller tasks and set a time limit for each, but with the way my energy comes and goes (and sometimes feels like it's non existant) I just kind of have to catch as catch can with the broad goals in mind. I feel that as long as I'm progressing toward those goals, though, it's all good. And, like you say, it does feel so good when a task is completed (for me, it would be part of a larger task) I feel so good when I've accomplished a task that makes the place look better, and it motivates me to want to do even more--and somehow, the energy comes along with that motivation. Hi Dorothy ~
I don't approach a list the way goal setters do. I have tried that method and only get overwhelmed with it, so my list is made up of smaller tasks that will get the big task done over time....and in the mean time I get to have that great feeling that comes with the doing..even when it is something small. That way my energy goes toward the doing rather than my feelings about the size of my list. I noticed a long time ago that the list doesn't go away...and that it is my list...seen from my perspective. My view of what needs to be done for my own pleasure. It reminds me of Walt Disney children's film...and the heroine singing with birds and little fury friends helping her do the daily what evers... There is such a pleasant air of happiness in the doing that comes with playfulness in approaching anything. When we do things that we feel honor us ...and our creativity ...and Divinity, the energy flows in abundance.

Whoopsie--no reply thingy. Yes, Carol--so true-if we can approach tasks in a joyful manner, it makes everything feel lighter, easier. Gosh, it would sure be nice to have some little helpers (like those in the Walt Disney films) to help with the chores. I think I'm going to see if I can enlist the help of my precious little nature spirits and ellementals. Now, I know they won't be able to do the work for me, but maybe they can help me to move a little faster and provide a happy atmosphere. Reply thingies seem to have gone bye bye again, Carol. Maybe it's because it's the end of the month and you'll be starting the Whispers for June, day after tomorrow--tomorrow, actually, since it's the wee hours of the morning on Thursday. Speaking of wee--the wee fairy folk must be helping me, as I found the energy to do some tasks I've been putting off for some time. I must thank them for their help. Gratitude is so very important. I love the darling little girl so entranced with the fairies in her doll house. Ah, the innocence of a child. They see things because are so trusting, so open--and they believe. I think that's the answer to connecting with the wee folk--the fairies, elves, nature spirits, ellementals, all of the lovely, joyful, friendly folk, who are so very willing and happy to connect with us, if we will only believe in them.
