I moved here to be with my partner but he has Bi-Polar and although he had some friends, we didn't seem to go out much. I used to go out for a walk and not see anybody! I started to volunteer for things. There's a town not too far away and I can drive so I help with Adult Literacy and I'm also in Rotary which is a worldwide charitable service organisation. The latter has brought me lots of new friends. I'm so pleased you have your family near you. Mine are an hour and a quarter away and although that's not too bad, I have to drive on a very busy motorway. I see them about once a month, so I'm luckier that some and not so lucky as others lol! It's gone midnight in UK now so I'm off to get my beauty sleep! Blessings

I'm sure you have lots of other talents Catherine! I also live in a small rural village but I am lucky, I'm pretty involved in village life and have lots of friends. Blessings
