A very bright old friend posted this on her Facebook page:

Guess what? 2011 is the sum of 11 CONSECUTIVE prime numbers: 2011=157+163+167+173+179+181+191+193+197+199+211.

I LOVE PRIMES!

Isnt' that cool, especially that it's ELEVEN (Master number) consecutive (rare) prime numbers that add up to 20-Eleven.

Thoughts from the Stream on Left and Right Brains

I don't know if I described it here, but about 7 years ago, I decided to try to research something using the right brain as a source -- in a way, like a Magic 8 Ball. It worked out amazingly, proving itself as a valid resource but not a left brain proof.

Only Once in 823 Years! LEARN TO DISCERN!

I read this several times on the internet and here on OV this month: October 2010 has 5 Fridays, 5 Saturdays, and 5 Sundays! That's very cool, right? Virus Warning (email with "Here You Have"/"Just For You"/"Here It Is" attachment)

I received this warning from a cousin today. She had a link to the exact page on snopes.com but I went directly to snopes to search for it myself.

Here's the reason why: when you receive a virus warning from someone you know, it's for one of a few reasons:

1. they're well-intentioned and have checked it out themselves;

2. they're well-intentioned and have been fooled into forwarding it, and it has malware that could harm your computer that is triggered by tricking you… Continue

Donkey in the Well

There once was a little donkey that worked on a very large farm. This donkey was a very hard worker, and was very much appreciated by his master who knew he could count on him do any manner of odd jobs and farm duties.

The Blind Men and the Elephant

Recently, thoughts of the party game Blind Discovery came up for me. I reach into a bag, feel around, take notes on what I've examined, and then pass the bag. Eventually, we share our notes and try to ascertain what was in the bag, then reveal the contents and laugh our @$$es off! Maybe you've played a game similar to this (Little Papers is a cousin).

Thinking of this game reminded me of the ancient story of the Blind Men and the Elephant.

Thinking About Karma

Yesterday I was thinking about the word "Karma" and the underlying meaning of its sounds.

The K in Karma is the sound of physical creation (maKe, Kreate, Kraft -- I'm sure you Kan Kome up with many more examples). Karma the word basically means action (physical), doing, making. In this sense Karma the phenomenon has to do with inKarnate actions.
