Great smelling Herbal Salt Scrubs for the tub or shower are easy to make and inexpensive to put together.
First get a wide mouth plastic container, (plastic is recommended in the shower or tub because you might drop it.) Get a container that is about 16 ounces in size and has a screw on lid.
Fill your container about 3/4 full with light sesame oil, which is great for the skin, and works wonders to keep your skin moist and looking young. (You can use other oils too, just don’t use anything with mineral oil, mineral oil will dry your skin, and baby oil usually contains mineral oil) Now take some kind of salt, it can be Regular Table Salt or Kosher Salt, or even Course Sea Salt and fill the container that has oil in it with the salt and mix together. Mix in enough salt to make a thick paste.
Next add a few drops of Lavender Oil, Peppermint Oil, Rosemary Oil, Patchouli Oil, Ylang Ylang Oil or any other herbal Oil that you like… add as much as you like, according to how strong you want the essence to be.
Mix well!
Now when you shower take a small amount of the salt scrub and use it to exfoliate your skin.
