One Vision - One Vibration

I would like to know your opinions on this....

Yesterday morning, I received a Skype call from a friend who seemed very excited to inform me about a concept called 'Talk Fusion' and his successes with it. He reckons it is the best thing since sliced cheese, but I personally cannot see anything wonderful about it... am I missing something ? Maybe I am getting old and overly critical...

I am not involved in this or connected with this scheme in any way

(and with an initial cost of between $250 and $750 plus $35 a month, I do not think I will be either as I can send video emails and harass people if I choose to using free methods),

but I was wondering what you all thought of this thing ?

A real breakthrough or just another passing fad ?

Addendum:

When I asked what all the excitement was about, I was told that this is the first system EVER to be able to send "video emails". So I asked him to send me one. But all I got was an email with a PICTURE of the message and when I clicked on it, it took me to a webpage where the video played... it seems like false advertising to me as there is no actual video IN the email, just a hyperlinked image of it...like this:

When you click on the image, it takes you to the actual message... seems pretty ordinary to me... anyone can send something like this without joining this scheme...

Plus, most people already have a similar feature for free through their internet. For me.. Say, I want to take a home video then email it to a friend. I can upload my home video to my computer and either my home video directly to my friend through the email or I can load it onto Skype then send my home video to a friend simply using Skype and chat with my friend. So, there is ways to avoid all that expense. The expense is a bit much for my taste!

My humble opinion is the following, "Why would anyone want to waste that much money for any kind of cellphone service?!" It's not worth the money for it's feature! I bought a simple cellphone for $20 from Dollar General store. I topped it with 200 minutes for I think $40 the first time and then paid $15-20 for 60 minutes once every 3 months. I have alot of cellphone features such as camera phone, recording microphone, internet browser, bluetooth, tools like calculator, scheduler, games, etc. etc.

My point being is play it smart! You do not have to buy an expensive phone or phone service in order to get a similar feature. Most cellphones with the camera feature records a short home video plus pictures that you can already send and receive. You can buy one like mine for $20 from the Dollar General store and top it up with cellphone minutes once every 3 months; which is heck of a lot cheaper than other cellphone services I've come across. So, be smart with your money. Shop around!

If I want to show people something, I just create a share notice in Google+ and I can send it instantly to everyone I know AND EVERYONE THEY KNOW... it is absolute magic!

Google does the rest... (and it won't be just a linked image... the video will actually PLAY IN the email :-)
