I just came across a very unusal "income generation" website that is unlike any other I have ever seen.
Having seen countless hundreds of obvious scams before, I was most suprised to find that there was no fee. None at all.
It's primary objective appears to be the amassing of a large mailing list. All content on the site is aimed at achieving this. It sports an ad claiming that the company will be sharing it's profits with its members.
Because the ensuing activity is so great and the number of visitors and subscribers is so high (>5,000,000 now), the site's Alexa ranking has shot up like a rocket since just before 2012 and is now at 1067. (If you aren't familiar with Alexa, it basically means with this kind of traffic, the site could be worth in the region of tens to hundreds of millions of dollars).
Now what they claim they will do is to allocate 50% of their profits (whatever that may turn out to be) and split it between the members (the money comes from the value of the company due to it's very high ranking....).
The site is free to join and is guaranteed to stay that way forever. This seems sensible as the enterprise does not need to charge money from its members. All that is required is registration. And if the instigators do in fact succeed with their plan (and there appears to be no reason why it *can't* work...), and they are honest, then everyone who is onboard will get a share of the profits.
Having been in internet business for over 2 decades, I am somewhat interested by this approach, because for ONCE, it is at least not yet another of those schemes where you have to pay and be left to the dogs working out how to recoup your investment with a bunch of useless "tools".
Now, on the negative side:
For those (like me) who are ever-suspicious of any scheme that promises this kind of thing, this begs the question: "What is the worst thing they could do".
I can only surmise that since they haven't recieved any money from the members, then all they really end up with is a mailing list which they could theoretically sell and then try to escape with the proceeds, but this seems quite illogical since their Alexa ranking clearly puts them in the multimillion dollar value bracket. Why jeopardize such a business achievement for comparative pennies and then having to flog stolen mailing lists ?
Personally, I think if the instigator of the this system were to do that, he/she would have to go down as the DUMBEST criminal ever.
I am registering - just to observe what happens.. particularly since there is no charge... ie. little to lose.
In the meantime, I am going to investigate futher to try to determine who is behind this endeavour....
Anyway, take a look and decide for yourself. If activity on the site is ANYTHING to go by, then these guys are really set for *potential* success...
BUT NOTE: They are only taking new members for the next 9 hours or so...
AND - IF you do join, realise that the success of the venture depends on getting with as many people as possible - because the potential income is dependent on how many others you have in the "team"...
I would like to hear your comments on this idea... Below is the advertisement in question.
