An "American Tea Party" of Love, Hope and the Collective Consciousness

Yesterday I attended an "American Tea Party" that was held in my town to protest government spending and our freedoms. These "American Tea Parties" are being held all around the country.

As I stood there in the crowd it occured to me that there was something bigger taking place. These people weren't just disgruntled members of a political party, they were human beings and they were either knowingly or unknowingly participating in the changes our world is undergoing. They were a part of that collective consciousness that we engage in every day here on OV, they are just using a different venue. We all want a "New World", a better world.... These people that attended were in different stages of "The Awakening". I have to say that the energy there was not of hatred, it was of love & hope...love for their country, for their fellow man, for their families, for the future of our world and hope that by joining with other like minded people there could be change. I have to tell you, I was thoroughly enlightened by it all. There was no fear, no talk of doomsday, just "we the people" joining together in a positive way to let the government know about the changes we want to see in our world!
I have been thinking about these people ever since I left and I feel that maybe they are a different kind of lightworker for the "New World". They have a different spirit and their path is not my path but our goal is the same....... A New and Better World!
