I've been looking directly at the sun for few days now something done long ago and forgotten.I go out the first hour the sun appears looking at.it at that time will not hurt you and is suppose to have alot of value.also one hour befoee the sun goes down."MY QUESTION IS."Why are has no one said anything about.the fact is"March20th and 21th maybe the most important days in our history.When the planet Satrun will be directly infront of the sun. THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE WHEN LOOKING AT THE SUN WILL SEND OUT SOME KIND OF ENERGY TO HELP US ASCEND. The writter says stay away feom the computer and TV there mayne alot of stuff done to keep you from doing the meditation.Why has none of this been mentioned here "Hummm" Makes me wonder.

Great post! I've been sun gazing for years and I also address the sun with the Celtic blessing, the Gayatri:

'You who are the source of all power, whose rays illuminate the world, illuminate too, my heart, so that it too, can do your work'. I always get a rush of energy and love when I do this. Sometimes I can encourage her out from cloud with it ;-) Blessings

Comment by Dragon Chimes on May 19, 2012 at 5:03pm: I first heard about sun gazing about a year ago by Hira Ratan Manek, here is a wonderful video on the process, everyone should see this because what every one is posting here are exceprts from his teachings! I practice it when I think about it, sometimes I can stare for about 3 minutes, usually when the sun comes up and goes down is the best time, less hard on the eyes. Tonight, we had a beautiful sunset, the sun was low on the horizon, the sky pink, the sun a great ball of fire..but something strange happened..usually it seems you can't really see the sun's full disc unless you squint, there is always a halo of rays. Tonight, I was looking at the sunset, the the aura disappeared and I could see the full disc without all the interference, this freaked me out..it was amazing!!!

I absolutely love doing that, it makes me feel so energized and peaceful, almost like I have found my long lost home. I am grateful for your reminder of next 2 days. I hope the sun is visible in my area ! I only became enlightened.."no pun intended" last fall and i started out like it is suggested, well kinda. I read an article on sungazing.com i think it was which said to start out at 10 seconds a day and then add 10 seconds each day thereafter and not to ever exceed 44 min per day. For me, I just waited until about 5 minutes before sunset or just as the lower part of the sun is about to disappear and then started gazing. 10 seconds was just not enough for me! I just didnt want to stop, its like a magnet. I have been doing it off and on fro at least 6 months and for sure i eat less because i am not as huingry. I have read that some yogi quit eating altogether,, thats amazing for sure! I was reading today on the network media about the coming solar events and they made it sound really cool and rare event for star gazers etc...and the article talked about the ring of fire as moon blots out 94% of the sun leaving a thin ring and then how Venus will also be crossing the sun on June 4th I think..but then came th edire warning to NOT look at the sun lest you will go blind...unreal huh..I used to believe that crap but not anymore..

It's brought clear vision to my eye that was fixing to have a cataract surgery in 2010. I learned of this from the video "Solar Gazing With RHM Part 1" It will heal any and everything know to man and it's free. It will open the pineal gland and bring us into higher consciousness so it just may help with our ascention. It is safer to sun gaze as you said one hour after sun rise and one hour before sun set. RHN says in the video that TV and computers are more harmful to our eyes than sun gazing. I'm thrilled to know some one other than myself knows about this. Hope everyone gets into this.
