those are good questions. I will not assume anything, however I was asked why would this thing be sitting on top of a mushroom stem?

Well back then they reinforced the steel with concrete so the turret seen below was filled with concrete.

I will also not assume that the radiation nor the electronics problems they had were related to the object at all. They could just as easily be coincidental.

It is highly likely that the radiation could be from a naturally occurring source. Radon gas is a naturally reoccurring source and effects many homes across many countries.

Unranium ore can be found in many places across the sea bed.

I know how important it is for some that this object turns out to be a UFO. 

For my people it would be meaningless. Our history states that we did come here from anther world, it is not a religious belief to us but a simple fact. So the presence of UFOs hold little meaning for us.

In fact we wonder why the Vatican has spent so much time denying the fact their own old testament readily states? Or why they spent so much time and money destroying proof that supports their biblical accounts.

One would think that supporting the story of David and Goliath would have greater meaning if a Goliath was presented?

After reading a book written by Mr. Mauro Biglino a paid Vatican translator in which the translations repeatedly indicates that the "God" of the Jews and Christians, Yahweh, was a visitor from other worlds is it any surprise the Vatican now states that "aliens are real and not are all bad".

How radio active would this Russian Ironclad be? How would it prevent electronics from working closer to it? Did they have technology like that in those days and would it have lasted to now?

Now imagine if the hull is rusted away and it is flipped upsice down. The concrete ballast layung on the bottom bottomside up. Voila you have a "UFO" that looks exactly size for size to this 1874 Russian Iron Clad.

I believe that Linda and Coast to Coast together suppresing the amazing truth that I experienced and described in my book Calling UFO's, so I don't believe whatever she said and another UFO investigators who organize anual UFO meetings in the USA and everywhere else, I have a feeling she and the others just make a money out of ???
